We are a small but dynamic general practice first established in 1985. We used to deal with many different legal topics but due to the impending retirement of our principal, Mr Stephen Chung, tentatively from 01.10.2024, we can now offered only the following services which is still subject to the closing dates for acceptance of instructions as stated in our web page for “Costs”:-
Sale (no Purchase) and transfer by gift of property (residential, commercial & mixed) and business;
Lease creation (up to 7 years only), rent bond, rent review, assignment, renewal, surrender or purchase;
Last Will and codicil;
General, Special or Lasting Power of Attorney;
Immigration (Extension of leave to remain by a spouse or partner only);
Deed Poll, Change of Name and Statutory Declaration;
Overseas documents - Authentication, Legalisation and translation;
Premises Licence application, transfer and surrender;
Magistrates Court – Mitigation only;
Source of funds and wealth checks under Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) legislations.
Please note that we have already ceased accepting new instructions for purchase of residential property from 01.10.2023, whether in cash or with a bank loan.
We are no longer a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Service (“CQS”) and the Lenders’ Panel and are generally unable to act for banks and deal with mortgages.
We do not carry out any Insurance Mediation Activity even though authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (but not the Financial Conduct Authority) to do so.
